Founder & Senior Clinician @ The Edge Counselling - Subiaco Practice Perth
As the Founder and Senior Psychotherapist at The Edge Counselling, I have dedicated nearly 10 years to helping individuals and couples navigate challenging times and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
As an experienced couples counsellor, relationship coach, and soon-to-be author, I am passionate about empowering my clients to overcome obstacles, foster deeper connections, and create lasting change.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their emotions, improve communication, and strengthen their bonds. Whether you’re facing a relationship crisis or looking to enhance the quality of your partnership, my approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based methodologies, and years of professional experience.
I am ACA registered and licensed, and I draw from proven techniques such as the Prepare/Enrich program and Gottman methods to tailor my support to each couple’s unique needs. My work covers a range of relationship issues, including intimacy challenges, conflict resolution, and trust repair, always with the goal of helping couples not just survive but thrive together.
In addition to my counselling work, I extend my practice globally through online sessions, allowing couples from around the world to access the support they need. My commitment to relationship education also drives my current projects, which include the upcoming release of a book and the development of an interactive online course to provide couples with practical tools and guidance for lasting relationship success.
If you’re ready to transform your relationship, I would love to work with you and provide the personalised support needed to create the connection and happiness you deserve.
Cam & Therapy Assistant Quokkachino
Life & Youth Coach for Psychosocial Recovery & Support Practioner @ The Edge Counselling - Northern Suburbs Perth
I’m thrilled to announce that my daughter, Cameron Mae, is joining our family-run practice at The Edge Counselling. Cameron is an intelligent, capable, and compassionate individual with a degree in Psychology and a Working With Children Check (WWCC). For the past three years, she has worked in the NDIS sector as a psychosocial recovery coach and carer, supporting individuals with disabilities—both young and old—and their families.
Her experience extends to caring for terminally ill individuals, offering profound support during their most challenging times. Cameron is now bringing her unique skill set to The Edge as a youth coach, focusing on assisting children and teenagers aged 12 to 18. She provides a safe and understanding environment where young people can unpack their issues, concerns, and challenges.
Cameron is available via Zoom a few afternoons and evenings each week. In addition to her impressive experience, Cameron is dedicated to ongoing professional development. She is currently completing a Certificate in Youth Work and will begin an Advanced Diploma in Counselling in early 2025.
Beyond her qualifications, Cameron draws from her lived experience and deep understanding of the challenges young people face today, including school bullying, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and the pressures of social media. Having supported many peers through these struggles, she is uniquely equipped to guide and support your child through difficult times.
